BMI gynaehealth terms & conditions are as follows:

The consultation price of £125.00

1.

Includes -

i.

One consultation with a gynaecologist

2.

Excludes -

i.

Any diagnostic test of investigations required:

ii.

Surgery or any other in-patient or outpatient treatments;

iii.

Medication;

iv.

Hospital accommodation;

v

Meals;

vi.

Transport;

vii.

Sundry items (phone calls, visitors meals, newspapers).

Your appointment

3.

The hospital reserves the right to refuse the admission of a patient for any reason.

4.

We aim to offer all patients their first choice of appointment date, however, we reserve the right to determine the date of appointment of the patient and, if necessary, change the date of appointment, should the appointment date need to be changed. Prior notice will be given, whenever possible, should the appointment date need to be changed.

5.

Costs incurred that are not included in the appointment price will be charged at the hospital’s standard rates. Patients will be advised of any additional costs before they are incurred and will be given the choice not to proceed with diagnostic tests or treatment outside the BMI gynaehealth package.

Written quotation

6.

You will receive a written quotation for your BMI gynaehealth consultation in your appointment letter.

7.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, the price. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, the price is £125.00.

8.

BMI reserves the right to withdraw the quoted price at any time prior to the appointment.

9.

BMI reserves the right not to offer either a diagnostic or treatment package or treatment for any reason.

10.

The quoted price for the package is valid for a period of sixty days from the date of issue.

Consultants' fees

11.

All consultants are self-employed and provide their services direct to the patient, unless otherwise specified.

12.

The consultant fees for the consultation are included in the quoted price and the hospital acts as their agent in collection of their fees.

Payment

13.

For patients with health insurance (or equivalent) that provides reimbursement for this treatment, settlement arrangements are as per the prevailing agreement between the hospital and the insurer/third party.

14.

For all other patients payment must be made in full prior to admission. The hospital reserves the right to refuse admission to a patient who has not paid in full.

15.

You may need a GP referral to validate your private medical insurance claim.

16.

Payment may be made using most credit and debit cards, or the BMI card. Personal cheques are accepted by prior arrangement, and must be received five working days before admission.

17.

Any further treatment offered including diagnostic tests (to be carried out the same day, or at a later date), will incur extra charges and full payment will be required prior to the treatment being undertaken.
