Osteoporosis screening prices

BMI osteoporosis screening costs £121 for your DEXA scan and interpretation by a consultant. This is a fixed fee, and there are no hidden extras.

If further assessment or treatment is required then the cost for this will be quoted separately.

If you are paying for your own osteoporosis screen, payment can be made by credit card, debit card, BMI Card, bankers draft, building society cheque or personal cheque. We ask you to pay for your screen on or before the day of your appointment

If you have private medical insurance you may be covered for your osteoporosis screen. You should contact your insurance company prior to your first appointment to confirm that you are covered, and to check whether you require a GP referral. Fees and prices charged by the hospital under private medical insurance may be the subject of existing agreements with your insurer and may vary from the standard BMI bone density treatment prices.
